Disassembling the End Clutch

 

Remove the friction plate retaining ring with a small pointed screwdriver or similar tool

Turn upside down and let the contents of the drum fall into your hand, keeping them in the same order if you are not replacing them

This is what it looks like with the Steels and Frictions removed.

Next, remove the c clip that holds the piston and spring assembly in place.

Remove the metal clad seal with an appropriate tool and hammer. A socket worked here

Remove the piston by knocking the drum facing down on a firm surface
